Job Offer for Technical Product Development Manager

EuroGeographics is looking for a skilled, motivated and experienced person with a good understanding of marketing and product development for the role of Technical Product Development Manager, which is opening up in October 2015.

EuroGeographics is the not-for-profit membership association of Europe’s National Mapping, Cadastral and Land Registry Authorities based in Brussels. The association is currently working very closely with a number of other organisations to develop the European Location Framework service (E.L.F.), a technical infrastructure used as single point of access to deliver harmonised, authoritative and interoperable, cross-border geospatial reference data from National Mapping, Cadastre and Land Registry Authorities (NMCAs) data.

The role of the successful candidate will understand the association and members’ strategic objectives for access to geospatial reference data and scope products and services that meet customers’ needs based on a variety of parameters. He or she will develop and deliver new products and services which exploit NMCAs data, available through the ELF platform, to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate, amongst other things, a good understanding of marketing and product development and a good track record in project management, demonstrating a commitment to deliver on time and to budget. He or she will also be able to demonstrate the ability to understand technical issues which impact on product and service delivery and experience of specifying and developing technical products which impact on product and service delivery is also.

Your salary will be based upon experience and working arrangements.

The working arrangements are flexible. The post can be undertaken through a consultancy contract, employment or secondment. The job can be undertaken from our offices in Brussels or remotely.
