New Surveyor General of Poland

Prime Minister of Poland Mr. Donald Tusk, appointed today Dr. Kazimierz Bujakowski PhD as  new Surveyor General of Poland and president of the Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography (GUGIK).

University of Science and Technology graduate and valued scholar of the Faculty of Mining Surveying and Environmental Engineering, specialising in the spatial information systems.  Master of Business Administration in public sector of the Cracow University of Economy.

In his professional career he held a number of managerial positions in authorities of the MaƂopolskie region including position of the deputy mayor of the city of Cracow where he dealt with issues of cadastre, real estate market and spatial information systems.

Experienced in governmental administration where in the years 1999 - 2001 he held position of the Surveyor General of Poland.

Member of the National Geodetic and Cartographic Council and the Examination Commission for professional qualifications in geodesy and cartography.
