SUMMARY:Enabling Digital Transformation - joint EuroGeographics - JRC webinar
DESCRIPTION:Following the well received webinar from 2022 on “the role of geospatial data within the civil protection system” organised in cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations\, we organised a webinar in cooperation with the Joint Research Centre (JRC). \nThe theme of this event was focused around  ‘Enabling Digital Transformation‘. \nJRC is looking at the current and emerging facts of digital transformation\, and their impact on the European economy\, society\, and environment\, in support of EU digital policies. Generally\, JRC provides techno-socio-economic research on the impact and strategic role of digital technologies\, data and digital platforms for economy and society\, as well as on digital skills\, digital education\, and the modernisation of public sector. \nWe examined the crucial role of NMCAs in shaping the future of technology and innovation\, by driving progress towards a digitally transformed world.
