Cambridge Conference in Conversation: Applying Geospatial Information to Climate Challenges

Venue
15

15th September 2021

Cambridge Conference in Conversation is a preliminary virtual event of the Cambridge Conference 2022. It is aligned with the four goals established for COP26, the UN’s annual summit on climate change in November 2021:

1. Secure global net zero by mid-century and keep 1.5 degrees within reach

2. Adapt to protect communities and natural wildlife

3. Mobilise finance

4. Work together to deliver

We’ll discuss the contribution national mapping and geospatial agencies can make to global climate action, including the COP26 agenda. The output from this will be a statement paper that all NMGAs can use in their preparatory dialogue with their national governments to help solve climate challenges.

We’ll be offering two sessions to suit different time zones; eastern hemisphere: 07:00 to 11:00 UTC or western hemisphere: 14.00 to 18.00 UTC.

Please contact cambridgeconference@os.uk  if you have any questions regarding the events.
