Annual Meeting 2018 of FIG Commission 7

The Annual Meeting 2018 of FIG Commission 7 will be held on 24-28 September 2018 in Bergen, Norway.

It provides a platform for bringing together professionals at a global level to discuss future trends in Cadastre & Land Management, visions for increasing transparency and trust and ways to strengthen the position of land owners and citizens in land registration processes.

This year’s meeting includes an international seminar on Cadastre in a digital world - Nordic and Global Perspectives which takes place on 24 and 25 September. It is co-organised with Tekna Samfunnsutviklerne and Geoforum in cooperation with the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in Bergen.

PolKEN Autumn 2015 Meeting

12 participants arriving from different parts of Europe and 10 attending via webinar are the numbers describing a very successful Policy KEN meeting hosted by the National Agency of Public Registry of Georgia on 19-21 October 2015 in Tbilisi. First day of the PolKEN was focused to the introduction of Black sea region members, their national developments and acknowledgment of their common issues and planning of possible future regional activities supported by EuroGeographics. The meeting ended with accustomed Policy issues supported by comprehensive reports from Task Force leaders on actualities of Digital Single Market, Copernicus and Cadastral issues related to policy, all followed by discussion and new ideas from the participants.
